| I am a New York State certified Psychotherapist in private practice in New York City. My orientation is Jungian and feminist. The services that I offer include individual psychotherapy, group therapy, telephone sessions and email exchange, marital, couples and group therapy. The choice of modality is customized to your needs. Online counseling is not appropriate if you are suicidal or out of control. The atmosphere that I provide is empathic, warm and helps the therapeutic process to unfold. |
 |
My post-graduate training is in the treatment of
depression, anxiety, and post
traumatic stress. Presenting problems often include complicated bereavement issues, early or multiple loss, self-esteem issues,
difficulties with relationships, divorce, emotional and/or physical
abuse. |

| Fees for ongoing sessions are moderate and on a sliding scale. For more information or to email me, see our contact us page. |

| : Jungian analysis, particularly Jungian dream analysis allows us together to distinguish ordinary dreams, "big dreams", predictive dreams and confirming dreams. In dream analysis, we focus on waking dreams and nightmares using guided imagery. In addition, synchronicity, which is an a-causal meaningful co-incidence is also integrated into a search for individuation and deep emotional healing. |
 |
| : Self-empowerment is achieved as we focus on the development of support systems and positive coping styles. The ability to network is viewed and encouraged as an authentic urge for a mutually rewarding connection. |
 |
| : I have both a special interest and personal experience with pet loss. I have helped adults, families, and seniors to deal with the grief related to the loss of an animal. Any loss or trauma, including the loss of a pet, may trigger unresolved issues in the grieving process related to earlier losses or death. |
